Meet the crocodiles
By this rickety peer near the ancient Maya ruins of Kabah was a rough handwritten sign that invited visitors to “meet the crocodiles” (encontre a los cocodrillos). It was a prospect that seemed all too likely.

Get up close and friendly with your local croc? I don’t think so. Those are such ugly creatures; even if you love them as a relic of the dim and distant past, it’s hard to get past the looks. Yes, I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the thought of falling through that rickey pier and meeting a crock on his (her) native turf is frightening.

Na, crocs are not the best of pets. lol
I only like them as a logo on my shirts.
